Prior to joining ICV, Mr. Wilson served the State of Illinois as a Research & Appropriations Analyst for the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives and as the inaugural Venture Capital Program Platform Coordinator for the Illinois Innovation Venture Fund. In these roles, he focused on economic development and equity investments in capital disadvantaged businesses headquartered in Illinois. Prior thereto, Mr. Wilson was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Deutsche Bank, covering chemicals, paper & packaging, and industrial services. He launched his career at Brown Advisory, where he worked as a Portfolio Analyst and Business Development Strategist. Mr. Wilson received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hampton University.
